Alright, I have the info on the Stage 2+ now:

The SPEC rep said: "The 2+ has pucks on the presure plate side of the disc and kevlar on the flywheel side as oppossed to the regular Stage 2 that simply has kevlar on both sides."

So yeah...that cleared up now
