.....a new intercooler.....

core size: 24 x 12 x 4
I'll try to get pics of it before it goes in. Then of course after it's in.

Oh, before it goes in, is there anything I can do to the polished aluminum to keep it looking good? Maybe clear coat it or something? I'm just wondering what it's gonna do with winter coming and the salt and crap they throw on the roads around here.

You can use high temp clear, they have it at Pep Boys, Checkers or Auto Zone. It flashes pretty fast, so you can put a lot of light coats on and have it come out sweet! I clear coated my polished UIM this way and am very happy with it!

Thanks man! I didn't even think of the high temp stuff like that. That's a ton easier, I was thinking of breaking out the paint gun and doing it that way.

just remember that polished aluminum doesnt have much by way of surface grip for paint to stick to, so it will tend to flake off fairly readily once in use.

anyone ever heard of, or used, this stuff?

It says it can be used on highly polished aluminum. Plus it can be brushed on and dry smooth.

POR15 stuff is awsome, I've used it in the restoration of my Impala. Everything I've used from them works really good.

Zoop Seal is kind of spendy, but I have heard great things by some british bike owners. Easy to apply and lasts a long time too.
