I finally snapped a few photos of my car. My 20 month old daughter helped me give it a good wash the other day (she isn't the greatest help- as you can see with some mud still being on there- I think I missed that when she tried to wash with a handfull of rocks). We've had this car since we bought it new in July 1998. It still needs some work, but I can't afford a paintjob, being out of work and young kids and all...

But it is running better than it was a year ago, thanks to CEGer's help. I have:

- Begun doing my own oil and filter changes
- Fuel filter change
- Tranny drain and fill (Redline MTL)
- Oil pan Gasket replacement (stopped the leak!)
- TB Cleaning
- On the car IM Cleaning
- Plugs and wires (Ford Racing- Double plats)
- K&N open element filter
- New front rotors
- SVT front grill
- Red painted calipers (Duplicolor "Ford Red" High temp engine paint)
- Pre-98 antenna base
- Pre-98 sail panels
- Headlight sand and polish
- De-"Contour" badged, added "V6" instead

More photos to come soon. Let me know what you think.

Oh yeah, BTW I found a small You-pick junkyard near me that has several pre-98's just sitting there. If anyone needs some help with pre-98 stuff, let me know. Sail panels, antenna bases (non-motorized of course), Mystique rear interior lights...

So pull the 24V badge? Is that what you are saying?

You don't like the Redline MTL? Why? I don't run it hard most of the time. The tranny has felt a lot smoother since I changed the fluid. I like it.
