I am such an idiot. I thought the pulley screwed into the black shaft. Its all one [censored] piece?
I was taking a rachet and turning the bolt on end of pulley while using a pipe wrench / adjustable wrench to hold the black shaft from moving. It looked to me like the thing to do since there was that nice spot on the shaft for a wrench to go inorder to hold the crank still. I guess I'll have to hold the crank still from the back of engine on the flywheel?
Hopefully I won't need to cut at all.
Ohhh....and yes I set my stanley tools aside and was breaking only craftsman. I'm pretty sure stanley has a lifetime warranty too but I have no clue where to go for an exchange. Sears is a lot easier.
