E0 SVT and 210HP turbo/AWD Eclipse were 2 of the contenders. The SVT beat the Eclipse in the battery of handling tests and equaled its time on the "Streets of Willow racetrack". That was an E0 which lacked E1 suspension, tire and power upgrades...
So , who gives a crap about 1/4 mile times :rolleyes: Damn cant beat that, no sir, can not beat that, overall the CSVT prob does have it better and besides, this is competeing against an extremely lighter car with a turbo. Ours is N/A and his is not, so you look at it that way... take his turbo off and see what it can do against a CSVT, once you throw a turbo on a CSVT with a 18psi of boost like he runs and we will see who gets beat by 1.5 car (or bus) lengths!!
I like the eclipses to and yes the older gens are easier to mod, but come on like i said i beat one in my Zetec tour!!! maybe it was because his was an auto convert but it still doesnt matter cause he is still at least 400-500lbs lighter than me easily especially with all the shiznit i have in my baby...
but no one will truely know until it is officially recorded... just my .02cents!
