Maybe they are just branching out? Who knows.
It's great if the CEL is related to the transmission (usually if your car is OBD-II). But, what can Mr. Transmission do about a lean bank of cylinders, a DPFE or EVAP system?
What's really odd is how this isn't advertised on their website. You'd think such a huge promotional campaign would filter online
They only make mention of using a scanner for transmission diagnosis.
Right now, I'm more comfortable using my OBD-II scanner as a starting point.
