Valvoline oil filters are overpriced relabeled Purolators. It's not a bad filter, but not as good as Motorcraft or PureOne.
Pennzoil and Quaker State are indeed relabled Frams, and they are no better than the cheapest Frams.
Fram is owned by Honeywell, who also owns some good brands, namely Bendix brakes and Autolite. I'm wondering what the receintly introduced Autolite oil filters are like. I think they must be relabeled Frams. What a bring down for Autolite!
