I got my first tattoo a couple of weeks ago. I got it on the top of my foot so that I can show it off only when I want to (wearing sandals, etc.). The top of the foot was a pretty painful place to get it though  . The other problem with getting it on your foot is that I have to get it touched up/filled in a little more next week, since part of it was expected to rub off over the initial 2 weeks of having it.
I might post a pic later.

Ok i took the idea of the snake, the needle and the wings and added it with Hippocrate's words in italian...it's a rough idea

No worries mate, im just looking for ideas on how to incorporate it, what looks good on canvas in my mind doesn't look good on the body, just lookin for some design cues

You mean latin? Because modern medicine was pioneered and excelled during Roman times, much of that knowledge was forgotten until recent times. And since i'm a medical student, and have much love for the field, i think a quote by Hippocrates (the latin) who is considered the father of medicine would be a loyal gesture
