Plus the SHO gen 1/2 motors have there fair share of problems. That and you can't get parts for them anymore. I just got rid of my 94 SHO and that car was problems from day 1. The 3rd gen SHO's had even worse problems. The cam gears have the tendency of walking and causing all sorts of valvetrain problems. The SHO Shop has a fix for this, but it comes at a pretty good cost. There was a guy that fixed his car after his cam gear walked and after everything was said and done he had close to 20k in it(to me this number seems high, but thats the number that was going around). Either way I would take a 2001 3L Sable/Taurus engine over the SHO motors anyday.
