You want one that has been well maintained and meticulously cared for. Much more so than on other cars. An owner that doesn't know this car very well can make costly mistakes that will shorten the cars life. At the same time, if you happen to find a CSVT in excellent condition, expect to pay a premium.

There is a really nice on for sale here in Louisville for $8000 with 82K miles on it. I talked to the owner. He knows the ins and outs of the car (extra oil, correct trans fluid, water pump, etc.) If you can find one like that, it is worth the extra cost, IMHO.

If you are a very mechanical person, you should have no big concern about buying a higher mileage vehicle. There are many many options available to you in terms of rebuilding/swapping the engine if something goes wrong.
