Why do they still call Eclipses DSM's? They haven't called the plant that makes those cars DSM since almost 10 years ago. It's been MMA since.
It's like calling a Contour a Tempo.

Those guys are ignorant! CSVT's are N/A and wasnot setup from the factory as race cars - touring cars. I wish CH would hurry up with the turbo.

I shall translate for j00! I was out cruising this past Friday night. It was around 12:00 AM and my friends and I decide to stop at Rit Aid. We were about to go home when this Contour SVT came up to me and asked if I wanted to race. Translation: This older man in a Zetec powered Contour stopped and asked me directions
I was like "WHAT??" I though he had NOS or something under his hood. I asked him what he had under the hood because my car was AWD Turbo. Now, this guy must have remembered his car specs because he was like, " 2.5 Lt, Dual Over Head Cam, aluminum head, 20 mpg, etc." So, I was about to laugh and so were my friends.
Translation: The old man repeated his question
Then he was like, "lets run it down this parking lot." I was like, this guy is dumb and dumberHahaha.... So, I told him we need to go somewhere else. So, we went to the service drive by the freeway. I was like, I'm going to teach this stupid guy a lesson.
Translation: I decided to be an ******* and show off in front of Grandpa.
So, his car had 3 guys and I had another friend and 100lb of sound.
Translation: He was by himself.
My other friends also lined up right behind me to follow the race.
Translation: I was by myself.
That guy looked at me and I looked at him. He was all geeked. I was like, this guy is really STUPID. So, we took off and as I switched to 2nd gear, I can see this guy like 1 1/2 car behind me. When I got to 3rd, it was like 1 1/2 bus length. Then, he made a turn and I couldn't see him anymore. I called my other friend because they were following the race. They said that the caught the guy at the gas station and he said that my car did not have a stock turbo. So, I came and talked to the guy. He said that he never saw a Talon jump off the line like that. So, I told stupid that I told you my car was AWD Turbo, and that's called the AWD Jump. We laugh at STUPID and left.
Sorry if it's a little long. Just want to let yall know how STUPID this guy was.

Translation: I tried to do a burn out but I gave it too much clutch, lurched forward and stalled.

1.5 bus lengths!! BS total BS, that would never even happen if he raced a freggin Aspire!!! I know that he is just elaborating like its freggin cool! Beside our car weighs like almost 1000 lbs more than that car to start with and the CSVT had 3 other guys in the car, and he said that he had 1 other guy and 100lbs of sound, got to be kiddin me!!! 100lbs of sound my AZZ!! and beside thats like saying you had one other guy and you under-fed GF in the car with you!!! total BS, the CSVT has a better 1/4 mile time stock than that dude does stock, they need to stop talkin like they know, because ive beaten a freggin 2001 Eclipse with my car, and i have a almost stock ZETEC!!!!! so i dont wanna hear anymore Shiznit from those "STUPID" peps!!

just my .02 cents just a fyi smoothy, the newest generation eclipses are slower, and much less mod friendly than the 2G i noticed most of those guys have late 90's eclipses
