I have too much wiring added into my dash with the stereo and the gauges. Ford sent me the repair letter saying they'd replace the dash back in '03 but I never took it in to them because they would NEVER have gotten all the wiring back in correctly.
I just need to get the vent area done and I should be good. Maybe when my windshield cracks I'll finish the last spot

Removing the windsheild is probably the best way to go. Pulling the dash isn't difficult but it is very involved and very easy to get squeaks/rattles after reinstalling. If I had it to do over again I would take the opportunity to get a fresh windshield and install the kit while replacing the glass.

Yep Im tired. Just placed the dash back in. You really have to watch what connectors you pull out, because now I have a flashing airbag light. I will deal with it tomorrow. But if your windshield is cracked I would pull it out and fix the dash much easier.
