Check the rubber "elbow" hose that runs from the intake back towards the IAC.. if removed, it will cause the car to start, but not hold ANY idle.

Also, you could have had too much solvent/liquid run in to the engine, and you could have created vaporlock.

then, again, the chance that the IAC isn't hooked up(wiring) or is bad is remote but possible.
