GOD I hate that thing. Way to go Ford, making a screw head out of soft squishy plastic is just plain brilliant.
I battled it on my then-girlfriend's '96 Zetec Mystique when I flushed the coolant in an faild attempt to make the thing not run so hot.
I hope my Duratec's radiator has a better design, I'm kinda afraid to look.
Ford got it right on the '93 Cougar I had. It had a little wingnut-like thing you could turn easily by hand, and underneath was a fitting for a drain hose. Looked and worked like a little tiny faucet. I don't know why they quit using that design.. Was too easy and convenient I guess!
