It is under the front sub-frame splash shield.

"PETCOCK"
A small valve or faucet used to drain or reduce pressure, as from a boiler."
guess its not "pet cock"
Anyway - I found it! took off fiberglass shield/splashguard. Can barely access it with one of my screw drivers! Stupid engineering in my humble opinion! Will attempt to drain coolant tomorrow.
Thanks

I agree dharnie that is stupid engineering, why are our cars so poorly designed like that? I mean they are good cars but just designed weird, everything is so hard to get to, I have a heck of a time gettin the dang oil filter back in place. Good luck.

Just replaced mine for 1st time. Floor jack both front wheels off ground; turned wheels all way to the left to remove; turned wheels all way to the right to install oil filter. Took long narrow filter off and relaced with Fram PH16 - shorter and wider - gasket to flange same diameter.

UPDATE:
"If it ain't broke don't fix it!"
So I located the danged petcock. About the worst design to get access to I ever have seen! It is actually a big PLASTIC screw! Can't get any kind of driver to get it off. Had to push and bend hoses/pipes to get pliers unto it. Finally got it off (2nd day now on this which should be minor operation!) The danged thing now is bound 1/2 way back into the radiator! Now I have a leak and cannot tighten it down or take it out! What a big disappointment!
Other than spending all next weekend removing the radiator, and everything else along with it,
does anyone have a fix it idea - like some kind of water proof goop?
I can permanently seal it. There is a small heater hose that can easily be removed with only one clamp that will drain the coolant system.
