I don't think it's a sensor guys. It is my torque converter whining I believe, although I still haven't located the TSS Or VSS I beleive my sensors are working good. Wish I had a POS sensor when I bought this car. Anyway, In the last 11 months I've
repaired head gasket ( didn't enjoy)
timing belt only( more to come)
Battery
Alternator
Timing belt again ( this time with pulleys)
now don't get me wrong. I have a 347 stroker in my Mercury Mountaineer, which I did myself. Since that however I injured my back,which makes it difficult to bend. I still like working on my cars, But this car is getting to me. From what I see of changing a trans in this mystique I don't think it is worth it.
I feel better now. Where is the tss sensor located, and could it be physically touching the torque converter causing the noise?
