I checked the coolant sensors with an ohm meter, and they are all right ( yes I'm going to the effort)lol. The noise is internal ( I used my stethescope once I gained good access) Could it be the vss gear ( thnx bob) going to check it now. I have a chilton's manual But I am having a hard time locating the TSS right now. be back in a minute
