is there anyway to put cougar lights on a contour?
what would i have to do to do so?
has anyone ever done it?

Yep, direct bolt-on.  Seriously, they aren't anywhere near the same size/dimensions. A LOT of cutting, welding, cussing, molding, cussing priming, painting, cussing, etc. Mark

bondo and paint in case you nick, or groove your paint while doing one of those various techniques.

I have enough parts in my basement right now to test that theory.. I was thinking of doing it for the hell of it but thought that I was going to have to swap out everything from the fenders forward incuding the hood and started feeling lazy..

I've always liked the Cougar's style,and now that you mention a headlight conversion on a tour,that might look kinda funky. Or not. I dunno. interesting though.
Some guy in town with a lightly modified black Cougar drove past me at an intersection yesterday and man,that car sounded soooo nice. I don't know what kind of exhaust he was running,but it was deep and purred just like a cougar.

it would defently be diferent i just had the idea because i found a junk yard with 2 99 cougars and about 20 contours in it. there is even a couple good duratec engines there and 5 speed manuals.
