LULAC had such a hard time getting people here to join a protest agains the minutemen here, they had to recruit people from out of town, mostly liberal douches from Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Most people along the border support the minute men, it's outside agitators and from up north that are protesting them.
NM Governor Richardson is a two faced bastard. He declares a state of emergency because of illegal immigration at the same time he signs legislation allowing illegals to get drivers licenses in NM. 
And people seriously want this [censored] to run for President?

im sure the Minutemen will be surrounding the area with signs, demanding that the contractors hire Americans to do the work instead, at $15 an hour.
You really need to venture out in other parts of the world some. I grew up in a town that was so small it only had caution light. There are plenty of americans that work for minimum wage and they are happy about it. Really tired of you thinking that "ONLY" illegals will work for low wages.
of course there are plenty of people that will work at Walmart for minimum wage but how many Americans do you know who do hard labor for $5 an hour?

I don't know, when I hear things like "the mexicans are taking over" and "I wish somebody would do something about all these illegals (aka mexicans)" it makes me think there is a little bit of hostility there. especially with our new found Patriotism after 9/11 doesn't surprise me one bit that someone would try to keep out all these 'non American terrorists'

What in the WORLD are you talking about? The minutemen aren't down there saying...
"There's a mexican, call the Border patrol."
"What about that illegal [insert race] boy over there?"
"Nah, don't worry about him."
They are down there trying to stop as many ILLEGALS, regardless of race, as they can...

So its ok for anyone to come into the country ILLEGALLY (not aka Mexican, its aka CRIMINAL). But hey, if you want to pay for all the medical expenses they get while being illegal, for the car accidents, etc etc etc etc. If you think its about race you are just wrong. well, i think theyre trying to do the right thing (Lord knows Border Patrol needs the help) I just hope that some kind of incident doesnt happen down there. i think the governnment needs to work on a better worker permit program so they can come in, work, pay some taxes, and go back home, legally. and as for border patrol....we have tons of homeless and/or unemployed people all over the place. cant we send them to the border with walkie talkies to be BP assistants for a few bucks an hour? might as well put them to good use.

Sorry but you assuming that everyone coming here is somehow negatively effecting people is one reason why you may be given this stereotype. Everyone has their own story to why they want to come here and not all of it is bad. I can't stand for something thats so "wrong" when its how this country was built. Now granted there are illegals causing trouble but everyone has their own story and reasons. Gaining citizenship is such a long process and it makes it difficult for some folks.
On, and I was just thinkin outloud about the other stuff and what I usually hear when people refer to illegals.
