Could it be they leave their families for a year because they are too scared to go home at night for the fear of being caught and deported? They can go home everynight if they wanted. "Work in the sun for peanuts" I love this statment. You really have no clue do you. Lets see, 50hrs a week for 20.00 US dollars. You do the math, that was my pay in the summers working on a peanut farm.
