I'm a somewhat interested, but before I can comitt, I need to know: 1) Will there be a scoop/vent. I vote NO. 2) What is the weight savings? 3) How much $?

Too much of these all at once... and I have no money to afford any of them... I hope this is going to be like the bumper covers, so I can get them later on. I'm still trying to pay off my credit card.

Micah you are sweet but man space out the projects or you might have a stroke or a heart attack but yeah i would get one in the spring depending on cost. if its under 1000

hahah, well this is just an idea and not reality yet. I wanted to post it out there so people could think about it. if I get enough responses, then cool, if not then cool. But it looks pretty good on the respnse meter.

You know I want a carbon fiber hood......as long as I can afford it.......But yeah, they'd be sweet with a subtle ram air on them.
1995 Contour LX, KIA w/ 156,264 miles. The memory will always live on..... Replaced by a 1999 Toyota Solara SLE.....

I will be in come late summer, no ram air please, but some Cosworth vents would be NICE.

How come it's only for 98 and older contours. Don't all contours have the same hood. I have a 2000 CSVT and I wanted to get a carbon fibre hood also. So how come it's only for pre 98 contours and not all contours?

well actually ralph, this hood would be for contours BEFORE 1998, you see micah has some serious love for us first gen brothers, and to answer your question, no the hood is not the same, with the difference in head lights, etc, the hood fits differently.....
