Sounds like your ATX Mount, found under the air intake, is bad. This is actually a fairly common thing and after a few searches, was able to see that when this mount goes out, it will cause the tranny to ride the subframe. There are no write-ups on the subject, as in a how-to or anything, but it is pretty simple if you just look at it.
