Hey Bob, are you referring to the TFT? Transmission Fluid Temp sensor? If so, that is part of the solenoid block, IIRC, and has to be changed with the block.

I would follow BT though, go with the fluid first. You will find that it will fix a lot of things. If it gets better, after the first drain and fill, then wait a day or so and do it again. You might find that your car comes right back to life.
