The '95 LIM/vac secondaries were open when the engine was off but closed as soon as sufficient vacuum pressure was achieved at startup. I always liked that gutteral growl that my '95 made, like a big critter pissed off at being woken.



mine has that growel, but it is covered by a clattering sound on startup.....maybe chains? who knows but after a few seconds it is gone and the engine runs happy
