I don't quite like that limitation either (in regard to transferring from disk to disk, though). I upgrade computers too quickly ... My music library has been swapped over five computers in the past three years (three desktops and two laptops). Lately it's been on my desktop hard drive, which this time hopefully will stay with me if/when I upgrade again, and I won't have to deal with the transfer process.
