MegaSquirt This system is becoming rather popular with the Mustang community, and at <$300 it's an attractive way to give yourself full-tuning capabilities, although you do have to assemble it yourself. Just thought some of the DYI guys around here might be interested in knowing about it.

Yeah, that Taco Bell will do that to ya..... Good friend of mine actually built one a while back and seen huge results on the Dyno--- but, eventually, he fried something that caused the PCM to short, and that was the end of his fiero.

Ive used it, not on the contour though.
We use it on an 84 bmw 325e, its badass, fully customizable, good software and very easy to use. Its kind of a pain to wire up but if you want full control over your fuel map but don't want to spend much money, I would definetely recommend it

If I was to ever turbo my escort and run much more than stock 323 gtx boost (i.e. have to have fuel management), that's probably the way I'd go. It's over my head though, so it would take me a lot to figure it all out, or I'd get somebody else in the escort community to do it for me. Anyways, it really is a good/affordable solution for fuel/ignition management.
