ok hre is what i know. the mondeos frond end is diffrent. they have no 5mph bumper under the cover so that would have to be doen away with. now you tell me what the cost is to get the bumper over here and i will make it fit my car. this sounds more cost effisent. so tell me what i woudl cost to get a pre98 bumper sent out to you and i will come and get it. ok kool.

Talked to a company already in the UK (serious talk, not hey what if stuff) Cost of the materials was not high, cost of start wasnt either, problem comes down to shipping a car to the UK, honestly its not that much money (I do alot of ocean freight shipping) but they wanted me to send a complete car to them so that they could make sure the kit fit complete and proper. I dealt with a very reputible company, and they didnt want to send over something that might not fit.
So if someone has a complete tour they want to donate, KnuKonceptz.com will gladly get kits made. Also since we have two versions (pre98 and such) you would have to chose.
BTW, Damn that car is sweet.....

Chris Hightower is working on a set of projector-style headlights for us and I for one hope they look like the ones in the 2nd pic Also that hood vent is really cool, I wonder if its functional

Well the company that made this kit is willing to do even one car. But it would be a waste IMO to make it a one off. Those pics are just that, a custom kit made solely for the owner. With one car to work with, they can produce more, and the more they make, the cheaper they get.
I'm sure that somewhere on this side of the pond, someone must know a company who would do this kind of work. Chris from CTA was working on this idea while I was away but it had the same outcome as always - not enough people were willing to fork out the money. As a group of enthusiasts, we need to get together and pick a kit so we can have this stuff made.
If everyone likes this hood, we're one step closer. What about the front / sides / rear? Personally I like the hood and front piece only.
As for "making" this fit a Contour with the larger bumper I know it can be done. Hell I had an ST200 bodykit over here and could have made it fit for the right amount of money but I wasn't willing to pay for the kit all over again.
Let's just pick a kit if we really want one made and approach erebuni, wings west, or another company over here. This can be done, it's not impossible, but we need to start doing something instead of just talking.

I like the entire car, but I cannot afford to send my car over there to let them use it. They can use my car, as I have stated before, but 3large to ship it over is insane. If they want a car, mine is a 98.5, older than 6months old and performance wise it is bone stock, so it will pass inspection.
Just call me Judge. People suck. Life begins at 170mph...until that point it is just boring.....

My post about importing a car was the other way around - those were the requirements from Canada Customs for importing an ST200.
The shipping is no longer a problem if there are two SVTs in Europe already. Shipping now would be a question of the kits enroute to us if the SVT owners wanted to donate their cars for a few weeks. Still, we need to pick a design or this will end up being a one-off.
