Hey everyone, thanks in advance for any advice you might have. Im driving a 98 E0 CSVT, 62,000 miles. I was driving today, stopped, got some coffee, when I started the car again, I noticed it was fairly difficult to move forward and my steering wheel was pulling to the right as if the alignment was off.
I realized immediately that one of my brakes was locked. Luckily my house was only a few blocks away so I babied it home. My brakes barely worked at all at the stop sign at the end of the block and I had to depress the pedal with some force. Once I pulled into the driveway and got out, I could smell the brake burning and the front right brake disc was radiating heat such that I could feel it from a few feet away. Any ideas what this could be or how this would happen so suddenly? Thanks again.

Use high temp synthetic grease on the pins and other sliding surfaces. It will last much longer.
