Im sorry i havent been on this site for a long time and have lost track of this stuff.
GC = Ground Control coilovers
I believe the perch is what the spring sits on (you can see it in your wheel well). You can't cut the perch with stock springs because they are too big in diameter, while the ground controls are small (more tightly wound).
I don't have GC's so I don't know the exact details, someone correct me.
