because i felt he had done a substantial amount of work to his vehicle, and thus was less deserving of my comment. but who i comment on and why certainly isn't any of your concern. i will stick up for my friend in the manner i see fit. but since you're chock full of respect for him, i'm sure your attacks are justified.
