not old as in black and white/silent, but movies that were popular months ago and you are just finally watching it.
i just got done watching "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington and it was simply awesome. anyone else "discover" and old movie?

My friends show me old movies all the time because I was slightly sheltered when younger. For example, I just saw "Big" a few months ago.

THAT IS A CLASSIC!!!! BIG is the stuff.
Man on Fire is awesome.. He's out for vengeance, my friend.. and he's ruthless. and cold doing it, too.
Watch the Princess Bride. Cary Elwes, Andre the Giant, Chris Sarandon, Peter Falk, Fred Savage, MEL SMITH, Billy Crystal, and other popular actors/actresses (now)
Awesome storyline, and great comedy. (most of it is back-handed, or hidden lines.. so the older you are the more you'll enjoy it..)

I've recently 'discovered' some excellent movies from the early 90s, such as The Untouchables and Goodfellas. For whatever reason, I hadn't seen them before, and they are both excellent movies.

I don't watch too many movies, but I recently rented "Big Fish" since i always heard nice things about it...thought it was a good movie...nice story...just cool in general...

If you liked man on fire which is a awesome movie. Make sure to check out Domino when its comes out. Same director Tony scott. Director of such greats as Top gun, and brother of world famous Ridley scott.
