That sucks. Aftermarket short shifters generally suck. I got one off ebay and it didn't fit right. When I get another one it'll probably be a kartboy (for my escort).

Well, your right. Its still on the pricier end of things (for shifters), but whatever. I would have paid the $150 or whatever the normal price was to avoid getting stuck somewhere with a broken shifter. Plus knowing that it fits perfectly and shifts smoothly, something many cheaper shifters dont do.

No problems with my B&M so far, and I drive very hard. Same with my friends B&M. He drives like mad man with his SVT and no problems with his either.

My B&M has been very solid. I haven't grinded a shift to 3rd at WOT since I got it.
