Anybody else see it? Is it as clear there as it is in EVERY OTHER COPY of the Bill of Rights? In other words, Congress shall make NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof
What could that mean? What could that mean? hmmmmmm.....
I'm glad you are a fan of Colonel Dan , or should I say buffalo bob, and his fine piece of conservative literature. As Im sure he makes you wet your pants with joy, however certain things he brought up made me realize how inane our current squabble really is. Let me start off by saying I do not believe that you have 3 children that you are chasing after, rather you are one of these 3 children being chased. You do very well at adding that touch of childness to your posts that really make your arguments worth a C in a high school literature class. The addition of sarcasm makes your collection of statements garbage worthy. However the real point I am trying to make here is that all the people on your side of the table think you are right, and all the people on my side of the table think you are wrong. Saying what you have is going to make no one cross sides. As clever as you think you may have been quoting the bill of rights, you made no real superb points. The most elementary government classes in American schools will tell you that there is only one US constitution however there are many ways to interpret it. I feel that freedom of religion should also include freedom from religion. That in no way infringes upon the rights of people who want to practice religion, but it gives people who dont practice a sutable choice. Therefore all can be happy. If this group feels offended by these crosses and feel they have to take it to court, let em, a judge will put an end to the campaign one way or another. And believe it or not, if the crosses have to be removed, the liberals wont have destroyed America just yet. If you like the way the crosses look, take a picture, it will last you a lifetime. ps woodencross (the irony....) if your highschool english class is really giving you hell, PM me, I can give you some pointers that may help you out.
Ah, yes. Bowling Green. Bastion of Education. Right up there with Hahvahd and Ahxfuhd. (If you need help with this let me know. I will translate it for you.) Freedom of religion means just that. If you want to believe there is no God, so be it. However, your beliefs may not impact daily living of myself or others. How do these crosses impact the daily living of Los Cruces residents? They do not. I say let the lib's pay the court costs!
