i will go with this as most books do not list an interval for the Contique. in fact in past discusions it was determined Ford upper the milage because so few were breaking, not to say that they don't

i changed mine at 104k to be preventative and the belt was in great shape, the problem was in the plastic pullies, the tensioner would have split in half on me had I not changed it, also they were worn pretty good, the new ones have raised sides and a low center on the face of the pully, my old ones were flat

this does not mean that you shouldn't check on the belt every so often to see how it is doing. make sure you change the pullies if you change the belt and the water pump if you feel like it since the timing belt needs to come off to get to it
