Mine are all plastic... I was thinking about just putting some black and red velvet on mine. Black around the edges and red on the middle part and painting the speaker grills black. You should be able to remove the carpeted pieces and replace the carpet on them with vinyl or leather. I used to own a 82 camaro and was over on www.thirdgen.org they have have a whole how-to with picutres in the asthetic mods section on how to do a custom redo on the door panels. I know its a different car but the same basic theory should still apply.

I used a soldering iron to pop mine apart. I removed the old vinyl (that was a b!tch), then I covered the old cloth with the silver velvet. The lower sections were painted black. The rear panels are A LOT easier then the front panels are though.

I did that to my old car (1980 Olds 98) all velvet interior. Dash, doors, everthing. Lowrider style. It wasn't that hard. I can't see why these cars would be that hard to do velvet. Sports sedan with velvet. Just doesn't go together.

I'm not thinking of doing it lowrider style! I just want to give it a different look. I'm actually thinking about suede too but they don't sell that cheap at wal-mart. If I can find some cheap suede I'm going to do the whole interior suede seats and all. My friend has a civic with an all tweed interior and it looks cool too.
