Someone had to be a guinea pig for my outer-most layer..

It was me, unfortunately, and it worked. I've got the marks to prove it.

Yes.. there are a few, or four or 5 levels of devices installed and wired to my car. Security isn't always 100%, but I like to try to get as close to that as possible.

I'll help you out with anything you decide to do, on this car or another. And, yes.. computer recording is much better alternative hence a DVR as stated. (though adding significant costs to the project.

As it stands now, I can have all cameras running on a 15 day auto-overwritten loop.. or half of those on an almost monthly loop.. Average, obviously, as if I drove more often then onsite recording would be filled faster, and overwritten in less days.

Off site is not hampered in the least, however.

I've got other "nifty" little circuits between this SVT and the 95LX I had.. Such as:

Auto windows up upon it raining. (yay! JAX FL rained every day it seemed.. that helped tremendously

etc, etc, etc.. I've always got the "mystery switches" installed, as well, but those are much less security based... and much more... fun.

I'm going for "most technologically advanced tour 3V4R!!"

Bah! I just keep my Contour as dirty as possible. That way, nobody touches it.

For anyone wondering, the word "zap!" comes to mind.

If required, I can either pull the DVR for offsite archiving/viewing, or I can watch from the DVR on-site (Should I want to show someone something right then.

I really would have no reason to archive it unless something were to happen that involves my car, or my legal rights.

PM me if you wanna get more indepth about doing something like this to your car

DAMNIT!!! You beat me to it.

And to think, today I was thinking about how cool it would be to Knight Rider a Contour out.
Hey Ray, if you can make a car do all that, you think you could make it talk to you? That'd be sweet.
