You know, I made a jury-rigged CAI for myself, and I am quite pleased. I took off the stock air box, put a Fram 3" intake paper filter on with a coupler, Packing taped over the first plenums hole, and remounted the Valve cover breather. It sounds sweet at around 3k rpm, where it develops a sort of howl. It sounds like the
b@stard-child of a Porsche Flat-six and one of those new Scion 1.5L I4s. I am absolutely loving it, and it only cost me $18 and about 15 minutes.
