Jumper- use paper clip (or wire) to connect the two test connectors. Light - any auto light bulb and wire. The goal is to watch the flashes (or movement on the meter) to read the codes. 3 flashes 3 flashes 2 flashes equate to a 332 code (EGR issue). Or buy a test light ($5) from the autoshops.
