No pre-reg... it's a regular T & T at Lapeer, gates open at noon. I think it's $20 to run, and a helmet is required for all cars regardless of speed. I believe there are some loaner helmets at the track, but if you have one all the better. I know it's a haul for you Alex but damn man, just buck up and put that extra 1.5 miles on your car

I always wear a helmet at the track, regardless of speed. The reason? I once saw an unsuspecting SHO driver nearly get a 13 second F-body for a hood ornament. The T/A launched too hard, took it side ways off the line but stayed in it, over corrected to the right, then to the left, crossed over into the path of the SHO briefly then overcorrected a 3rd time and plugged the wall.
You never know what the other driver will do. Since then I always wear a helmet at the track.

well whenever i raced at milan it was highschool nats with break-neck geo's and festivas, or foxbodies lauching so fast that i felt like i wasn't moving.
