Just found out some pretty bad news. Art Whipple(owner of Whipple) buys his supercharger cores from a company in Sweden, Lausch(sp?). They(Lausch) are a supplier for MBZ(kompressor models) and some other OE's. They've been back ordering everyone except OE's. Well, Whipple orders ~1000 units per month and can't get the cores on time.
Eaton and Mercruiser just recently bought out all stock from Lausch, and told Whipple that he no longer can buy/use their cores. Evidently it's in court right now, but Whipple has sent all employees home, out of work.
I wonder if this is going to hinder the production of these kits?
