Well, I tried to do it the lazy way and order a new throttle body instead of cleaning the old. I ordered part #F6RZ-9E926-AG and found that there are no EGR passages on this throttle body at all. They don't exist on this replacement. The parts guy says that it is indeed the correct part. Is it that the EGR passages are not actually part of the throttle body, but behind it?
I haven't taken it apart yet because I'm trying to know as much as I can before I open it up. This stuff may be easy(or perhaps not) for you guys but I'm an electrician and cars mess with me.
