Drilled a hole through a piece of metal at the top of the trunk. Slid the ground onto a bolt and secured it very tight with a self penetrating nut! (The nut digs into the metal when tightened down)

To be a little more specific, by trunk. I mean the area under the rear deck lid. Also always make sure that you have bare metal to ground to.
I'll take a pic if ya need

Bbhind the seat under the side carpet is a "channel" of metal that sticks out, I used a 1/2"x1/4" self tapper and put it there. Be sure to use a ring terminal. DOing ti here will allow you to run the ground under th ecarpet and completly out of view.

In this same channel, there are already several pre drilled holes, which would allow you to just use a machine bolt and nut instead if you don't want to go through the trouble of drilling a screw in there.

Locktight will be a good buddy, too and defently do a bit of sanding to guarantee a perfect surface for grounding.

Rob, I used to have mine grounded there, but I cought a bag of grocerys on it once, and my hand another time, and my head once....

Mine is right in the corner so it also tucks behind the carpet. Not to be seen! Its easy and it works...

you should not ground on the rear deck cause its could be a flotting ground, under the mat should be perfect and the best, if you want to work hard, the back seatbelt bolt
