I've decided to stick it out UNLESS they evacuate Houston, which will make it too damn late ANYWAYS since everyone and their mother will leave. . .oh well, I fought people off for water last night, I have about 5-7 gallons in the house right now . . .two cans of peanut butter, 3 loaves of bread, and about 24 cans of tuna. . .that's all I could get my hands on. . .I'm turning up the dials on my freezer and fridge friday, so everything will stay cool for about 4 days. . .I don't have too much stuff too spoil, so I'm okay there. . .I'm on the second floor, so I should be reltively safe. . .i'm just worried about toilet flushing and all that stuff, I mean, the tuna and peanut butter gotta come out eventually right??

I'll fill up the tub on Friday for sure. . .I'll take a shower as well. . .what else can be done??

Collect rain water to help flush the toilet. When the midwest power outage occured, we were unable to flush the toilet. It rained pretty nicely one day and we collected water in some buckets to help flush the toilets. Other than that, I can't think of anything else.

Man, we're indian we live for this stuff. If our ancestors can survive monsoons, this is a cake-walk. Aside from the testosterone talk, be safe and don't do anything stupid.

That day that it rained. I was struck by lightning. Seriously. It wasn't direct, but I was knocked to the ground and screamed at a pitch that I don't believe I could ever hit again.
