How about your wheel bearing? It might only have play while theres pressure on it like a ball joint. I would raise the tire off the ground just enough to stick a pry bar under the tire. Pull up on on it several times..see if you feel a thud or just loose. Also check all your bushings. That will also cause vibration.
Also, to narrow down the "rotor issue" swap rotors to the other side. See it the problem moves with it. I really dout it. It sounds like a suspension issue. When your moving the pressure is all on the front of the bushing ((O)<<<<< when your braking the pressure shift to the rear of the bushing >>>>>(O)). The more wore out it is the more "play" there is.
