It's bad enough he absolutely fell on his ass in calling for the initial evacuations with Katrina, but with another nasty hurricane heading into the Gulf, he doesn't order a halt to the re-populations of people in New Orleans and chews into someone with enough grey-matter that does.
The reason? The new FEMA manage supposedly "overstepped" his bounds in demanding for the halt of the re-population work.
Let me get this straight:
1) He screws up and when a disaster of biblical proportions happens to his city, he screams, cries, cusses and yells that the Federal govt. didn't take enough "initiative" in saving his people and his city.
2) With another one potentially approaching and New Orleans in a desperately weakened position, he chews into the Federal govt. for showing "initiative" in halting the influx of people back into New Orleans. Hell, a mild storm surge is going to cause TONS of problems so it won't take a direct hit to turn N.O. into a concrete version of the Everglades again...
This moron needs to be drug out in the street and stoned.
