This isn't at the salvage yard. It's at the salvage auction. Cars like this don't make it to the salvage yards, they're usually sold for scrap. Most insurance totals will go through a salvage auction first. If no one bids on a particluar car it is sold for the lowest possible bid (right now its $10., but varys with metal rates). There's a little more to it than that, but you get the idea. A salvage yard won't bother with a car like this even if it does have a few good parts on it. On the other hand, a badly beaten car like this one could go for a few bucks if it was a desired model because "exporters" will buy them just for the cars paper work. What they're doing is pulling the vin tags off of it and putting them on a stolen car and shipping it over seas. A lot of scaming going on at the auctions!
