there is always a way around the no car at school rule. I am not suppose to be able to have a car on campus until I have 54 credits. I know people who get someone who can have a car get the parking sticker or I found a loop hole and i got a friend at a branch campus to get me a sticker.
As for your parents they have every right to be mad. You threw away their trust and that is a very hard thing to earn back. But I ask why would you ever loan someone your car? it is almost asking for trouble, but I would have been stuck when my battery died and I used my friends car.
As for the car since you are paying for it, it is technically yours. My car is in my fathers name but that was basically so we could get insurance for the car.
I went the year without having a car and it sucks, I had to pay insurance to let it sit at home. Suck it up and deal with it, better to stay on campus and meet people and learn what goes on, the school should have jobs for students.
As for the other two that jumped at you I think they are very wrong to have done that, you were asking for help and you should get a reasonable answer. When people ask for help you shouldn't slam the door in the persons face.
And note I am 21, I take reponcibility for my actions but when I need help I seek it out
I would move this post to the off-topic area, some may receive it better there
good luck
