Ado- Just a word of the wise. Street racing is not accepted around here, so just dont talk about it. Always make sure its at the track... Anyway, alot of people have been doing the 3L's lately. As far as price goes it all depends on what you want. But when doing it, I would suggest beefing up the trans with LSD and the updated shift tower. Just send it out to Terry Haines. I'd say, if your car is bone stock, drop about 4 grand and you'll have yourself one nicely modded 3L. BTW, welcome to CEG.

Sorry I wont mention racing anymore :\ but wow, 4 grand for 3.0l upgrade? alot of money, but I must have it.
Can someone please link me to a nice cold air intake for the SVT (I've been looking for over an hour last night, I found some but I still thought I should ask for advice). I'm willing to pay up to $300, even more if its worth it. Thanks

get the K&N RU3530(ajusa.com.. $3x.00), the MAF adapter, and a heatshield (make your own from a rubbermaid can, or find one for sale) to avoid heatsoak at idle, and you are looking at about $75... NOT $300, and its the "tried and true" filter... GO WITH THIS COMBO

i am personally happy with weapon r intake, custom heat shield(rubrmaid can w/ heat shielding tape), and rigid but flexible tubing that i ran from the opening of the lower front grill rite up to the opening in front of the air filter just on the inside of the fender. i love the sound of this intake to more then some others that i have heard. so u can think about that idea to.

You could probably get away with a 3L swap for about $1500 if you did the work yourself.
