For your subs, I'd give Blaupunkt a try for your amp.

Hardly
Length With Shroud: 11 27/32"
Width With Shroud: 10"
Height With Shroud: 2 1/2"

the amp in the picture looks like a Kicker 04KX850.4 which is a 215W x 4 amp. and something like 22" long. roughly twice the size of the one your actually thinking about getting.
the one your looking at actually looks like this:

And remember, alot of the size of this amp is actually just the wire shrouds

Hifonics is actually a really good brand but some of the other amps built by Maxsonics from some of the companies that they bought out such as Crunch flat out suck though.

Carpe... Well I went with your Kicker name. Not as much power. Got it for $100 from a friend here on campus.

Looks like it'll still do the job.

Only thing is I have one set of rca's coming from my HU.
And there are spots for 2 sets. What exactly does that mean...

a 4ch have front and rear input. if you dont use two RCA from your HU you will not be able to use your fader.

In many case some amp have also a output to add another amplifier without passing another RCA from the HU (its a passthrought, not affect by the crossover or the gain)

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are telling me...

I have a indash dvd player. (no preamp outputs) it's connected to a 7" screen. My RCA's are running from the outputs on the back of the monitor, to my 2 channel amp (which I sold) And my left and right speakers were combined and then powered from the amp. (Yeh, I know all of you SQ buffs say it's dumb and that's fine.) But my rear left speaker wire is fried or something. And I have no clue how to run new wire through the car to it. Plus that would involve pulling out my in dash/monitor ultimately ending in a large@ss amount of unnecessary.
So I'm used to not having a fader, I can deal with that.
So are you telling me I can't use all 4 channels of the amp?
I originally planned on powerin my components (all 4 sets, the doors) with "amp 1" the front left and right channels. Then bridging the "amp 2" to run my polk sub. So is amp 2 not gonna have any signal running to it since I only have one pair of rca's?
If so can I buy a splitter? (yes i know it kills the signal and what not)

If your using this 2nd amp that you bought to run your sub, why did you buy a 4 channel as opposed to a 2 channel? Confused

Nevermind, just saw your original post stating your replacing your old amp and only want to use this one to run the whole system.

So with one set of rca's, can I still use the front 2 channels for my components and bridge the back 2 for my sub?

with one set you can only drive your front channel, you will need to split your RCA for the rear channel (bridged for the sub)

That'll hurt the clarity of the signal won't it...

Oh well.
