Yes, but the SVT cams are much more performance oriented than a normal Duractec camshaft.

The power isn't in the cams, it's in the extra .5 liters and, in the case of a 2001 and up 3 liter, the oval port heads flow nicely. More flow = More power and There's no replacement like displacement.

And yes, you can use them in your car and give me your svt cams!

If you want more power and are consdering tearing the engine apart, check out the 3L forum. That's the best N/A thing you can do to get more power. Mix a 3l with an intake and full exhaust (headers-->back) and I'm sure you'll be pleased.

MSDS Headers, Optimize your Y-pipe, and a cat-back exhaust.
And an open element filter for some growl.

Actually the escape cams are a better cam choice than the stock 2.5L cams. They would fit if you use the updated chains and crank sprocket.
I know because I ran them in my engine and they interchanged easily with my 2.5L SVT hardware.
Great for a turbo too!

How about Escape cams vs. Taurus cams for naturally aspirated and FI, respectively?

Not sure. I think under some years they had the same profile, esp. the later ones.

You can find this by searching the 3L forum. Procyon has posted lots of cam specs.
